"The strictly live recording at Lisbon's Desterro club, sees three courageous improvisers at work in a chamber music situation full of energy, resulting from the intensity of the dialogue between three instrumentalists who have made extemporaneous musical creation their raison d'être.
Ernesto Rodrigues on viola and João Madeira on double bass cross the strings of their instruments with Bruno Parrinha's bass clarinet, in a union that develops in three episodes, at times slow, at times in tangles of notes and heterodox sounds that maintain their own logic.
It is a concentrated situation, forty-five minutes that flow by letting you glimpse the energy that runs beneath the surface." 8/10
