"In a long improvisation of forty-one minutes, entitled In the Name of moral Order, five of the protagonists of the Portuguese avant-garde allow us to act as spectators to a long alchemical experiment in which the sound ingredients that lead to the final result are managed with wisdom and balance.
The seven protagonists are Ernesto Rodrigues on viola, Joana Sá on soprano sax, Nuno Torres on alto sax, Luisa Gonçalves on piano, João Madeira on double bass, Carlos Santos on synthesizer and José Oliveira on percussion, all very attentive, very sensitive to mutual conversation , without a voice that thinks of bullying others.
Their delicacy of intent is striking which nevertheless reveals energy under the surface, empathy and total trust during this meeting, recorded live, between absolute freedom and almost extrasensory communication which leads to a balance during the entire performance which is not for nothing obvious in the genre."
